Step 1
We will visit your home to discuss your aspirations for the property and gain a clear understanding of how you live and use the space. Together, we will assess the areas of your home that are no longer meeting your needs and explore opportunities to unlock its full potential.
Step 2
Next, we undertake a detailed survey of your property. This includes measuring the existing house and carrying out a visual inspection of key structural elements, including load-bearing walls and drainage arrangements. Using this information, we prepare a comprehensive set of existing drawings, which forms the foundation for developing design ideas tailored to your requirements.
Step 3
Working closely with you, we will refine and develop a bespoke solution that reflects your aspirations, enhances the value of your property, and aligns with all applicable planning policies and Building Regulations.
Step 4
Once the design is finalised, we will produce a full drawing package, including plans, elevations, and sections as a minimum, and manage the planning application submission to your Local Authority. We will act as your point of contact throughout the process, liaising with planning officers and responding to any questions regarding the proposal.
Step 5
Once planning consent has been secured, we will prepare a detailed Building Regulations application package. At this stage, we work closely with a structural engineer to coordinate the structural and architectural design, ensuring all elements are fully integrated. We then submit the Building Regulations application on your behalf and provide a comprehensive construction drawing package suitable for pricing and construction.
