A Typical Journey on a Home Remodelling Project
Step 1:
We will make a visit to your house and discuss your aspirations for the property. We will assess the aspects of existing house that may not be working for you, as well as identify opportunities which could unlock potential within your home.
Step 2:
Next, we measure your house. We will carry out a visual inspection of any load bearing structures as well as drainage. This information will be used to create an 'As Existing' drawing set and use it to generate ideas for improvements to the house based on your requirements.
Step 3:
Through detailed discussions with you, we will create a final design, making sure that it falls within planning policies and building control regulations.
Step 4:
We will prepare a full set of drawings (including plans, elevations, sections) and submit relevant planning application to your Local Authority. We will liaise with the planning officer on your behalf and deal with any queries to our design proposals.
Step 5:
After planning consent is granted, we will proceed to prepare detailed building controls application package. During this stage, we will work with structural engineer to coordinate structural design with architecture design and create a building controls package and submit this on your behalf. This information is good for construction purpose.
